It comes with a huge display of 2.8″ with resolution of 480×800 pixels which is more than omnia and iPhone. We are quite happy with the display which is very sensitive and has various colors. There are four hardware buttons on the front. The volume control on the left and the headphone jack on the front are very easy to use. Some of the exterior are rubber coated including the back side of the mobile and hence provide a better grip for the user. The operating system that this mobile uses is the professional windows operating system which acts a very good interface for the user. The touch keyboard is more comfortable for use as the display is bigger. Unfortunately they support only mp4 videos to play. But they seem to support Divx videos if we install the codec for them. It’s also interesting with the 5MP camera inbuilt in the mobile. Overall HTC touch HD is a great business phone for document viewing and other options.

The Samsung memoir looks exactly like a camera. The overall design of the phone is like there is only a thin line of difference between the phone and the camera. It is 4.2″ long, 2.1″ wide and 0.6″ thick .It is one of the slimmest high-end camera phones we’ve seen. At the bottom of the home screen of the 2.6″ touch screen display we could find four icons. They represent the phone dialer, the phone book, the Web browser, and the main menu. The memoir does have a virtual QWERTY keyboard which has quite large keys with good spacing between the keys. The Memoir has a large 2,000-entry phone book with room in each entry for four phone numbers, four instant-messaging usernames, a Web site address, birthday and anniversary dates, a street address, and notes. One would surely be impressed by the camera clarity which is simply amazing. It also has voice command, PC syncing, Web-based e-mail for a variety of providers (AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, Comcast, etc.), instant messaging, GPS support, and stereo Bluetooth.

The LX370 is simple slide phone from LG. The design is very straight forward. On the front there is a fine 2 inch display screen. On the left there is a volume control button and a microusb charging port for charging the mobile. To the left of the mobile there is headset jack, microsd card slot which supports Up to 1GB microsd card, a speaker phone voice command see and finally the camera key. The back is very straight forward with a simple 2MP camera and a speaker. Sliding the phone up us could reveal a decent sized traditional keyboard. The keys are well placed. They are very easily pressed and there is no doubt about it. On thing which attracts everyone is the curved nature at the top of the slide. This means there is no overhand for the keys at the top row and indeed the keyboards are very easily used to type on. The overall build quality of the 370 is really very good. When it comes to performance 370 is solid performer and there is nothing too special about it. But still for a basic phone the LX370 is a very good phone. With a tag price of 100$ the L370 is of course a good mobile to rely on.

Some of the noticeable features of Samsung axle are a Bluetooth, voice dialing, camera, a unique olive green hue. One of the most impressive features is that the mobile provides a 500 contact phone book with five numbers in each entry along with the e-mail id. Other features are text and multimedia messaging, a calendar, a clock, a calculator, a voice recorder, currency converter, a memo pad, an alarm clock, tip calculator etc. About the VGA camera, it takes the photos from three resolutions ranging from 640×480 pixels to 176×144. Other editing options include a night mode, a self-timer, three quality settings, four color tones, four white balance settings, series and divided shot modes, 29 frames, adjustable brightness, and three shutter sounds, plus a silent option.

The Nokia 7370 offers Bluetooth, a speakerphone, a megapixel camera, and good call quality. The phone supports a maximum of 262,144 colors with the 2-inch-diagonal (240×320 pixels).To the left of the mobile there are volume control buttons. And to the top of the mobile comes the power button. To the bottom we could find a power jack to charge the mobile. It can store up to 500 contact phone numbers with five individual entries for each contact along with the email, street, web address and some notes. Some of the added features include Bluetooth for connecting to a headset or for sending files, PC syncing, USB cable support, voice dialing and commands, and a speakerphone. It comes with a 2-megapixel camera with five resolutions (1,280×960, 800×600, 640×480, 320×240, and 160×120).

Sony Ericsson is now releasing a series of phones which is eco friendly. These series are greener compared to the other products of the other brands. This series has been labeled as the Green Heart series. One of the products under this series is the Sony Ericsson naite. The packaging used for the mobiles is of recycled products. Similarly it uses recycled plastics and the charger is said to be a low energy consumption charger. This eco –friendly mobile comes with a 2.2” display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Like other mid range mobiles of Sony Ericsson it has a 2MP camera, Fm Radio, Stereo Bluetooth and 3.5G support. This weighs around 84gms. The special feature about this mobile is the CO2 calculator inbuilt. CO2 calculators gives an approximate idea of how many tons of carbon dioxide your activities might generate and how many trees would it take to offset your emission. This phone measures about 108×47x13 mm and is expected to hit the markets by the end of 2009.

Tocco is yet another successful fully touch screen mobile from Samsung. With is a body structure of 98.4 X 55 X 11.6 mm, Tocco seems to be so handy that it wouldn’t be uncomfortable in our pockets. The phone comes with a second battery cover which is also used to cover the screen and protect from scratches. Around the edges of the mobile there is a volume control and a hold button. The hold button is used to touch screen. The mobile comes with 5MP camera which is really awesome and provides high clarity pictures. The other distinguishing feature which Samsung claims is the user interface. Samsung claims that the user can personalise the user interface depending upon how he likes to use it.

Satphone is nothing but a model of mobile phone which connects the satellite for its network instead of connecting to the cell phone towers. Depending on the construction and mechanism, the coverage of the mobile is calculated by using suitable formula. The Satphone is also termed as a satellite phone or a satellite telephone.

The Qa30 is a very unique looking phone. Its almost all display when is closed up but the slide mechanism opens up to reveal a pretty nice QWERTY keyboard. The keys are pretty stiff with 4×4 rows and 38 keys with punctuation keys. There are small dedicated back key buttons, music buttons and two soft keys on the left and right of the navigation key. On the right hand side of the phone we have the volume control buttons and to the right side of the phone we have a small dedicated button but using the voice command system. It recognizes the voice commands and acts accordingly. The user interface on the screen is a little bit unusual for Motorola. There is some transition effect when we go into the main menu in the display screen which we might not have seen elsewhere in any other phone. But we do not find the same when we move out of the main menu. There is also a menu source which is inbuilt in the home screen which allows us to navigate in the home screen itself. Some of the features which are in the home screen are compose text message, messages, Gmail, cricket, video store, games and application and my friends. The music button in the home screen allows us to play music and there is an option is to hide the music player and continue with our other works in the device. Hint has a 700-contact phone book with room in each entry for five phone numbers, two e-mail addresses, a birthday, URL, a street address, and notes. The Hint also offers a voice recorder, text and multimedia messaging, stereo Bluetooth, and voice dialing. The 2-megapixel camera takes photos in five resolutions, from 1,600×1, 200 down to a special size for photo caller ID. Other options include a self-timer, nine frames, five white balance settings, adjustable brightness, a digital zoom, and four shutter sounds, plus a silent option.
